Seaforth brewery wins fans, national awards
Though Half Hours on Earth is a small batch brewery located in Seaforth, it’s made a name for itself in the short time it has been open by winning two awards.
The tiny brewery, so small it’s only a retail operation, has won friends near and far and regularly ranks among the top breweries in Canada by Untappd, a beverage benchmarking website and mobile app.
The brewery’s beers tend to lean towards American/Belgian Farm-house-style ales, such is the personal touch of the brewmaster that if the time comes where he feels like brewing an IPA, Imperial Stout, or anything really, he’ll likely just go ahead and throw those into the mix as well.
The beer is sold in 375-millilitre bottles, 355-millilitre cans and “growler” fills. You can sample the beer, but there’s no tap room.
You can order ahead for pick-up during retail hours, Saturdays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The company is now offering free delivery on orders over $125.
